Contender Biographies - Mahbob-U-llah Kowhai's Biography

 Mahbob-U-llah Koshani was born in Badakhshan province in 1944. He was graduated from Habibia High School and obtained a master's degree in economics from Moscow University.


He was a member of the executive committee of Afghanistan's Revolutionary Labor Union and was later appointed as head of the union.


In 2007 he founded the Afghanistan Liberal Party from consolidation of several intellectual parties with Afghanistan Labor Revolutionary Party and was appointed as deputy head of this party.


The central council of the party nominated Koshani for this presidential election.
